Australia: Warburton

When I was younger, I desperately wanted to go to Australia. I’d even found a school, the University of Wollongong in New South Wales. Maybe all those week day evenings watching Neighbors and Home and Away brainwashed me. 😀  My dad was having palpitations at the thought of me running off alone to some foreign country so he quickly scuppered those plans and my dream was deferred.

I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Theo’s family and friends. We spent a wonderful month in Australia, I can’t wait to go back some day.

I have tons of photos, but it’s fitting to start with images of Warby, Theo’s home town.

Lovely! Warby looks like some tropical paradise, full of character. Reminds me so much of Seychelles. Thanks for sharing.

Warby certainly has character, but erm…temperatures are not Seychelles-like at all. We heated the house on some days-and it was summer.:D Thank you so much for dropping by Shirley.
