A: It is a moment-driven style of photography that is based on the principles of photojournalism. I don‘t direct or pose you, I photograph you going about your day like you normally would. You don’t need to tidy up, have your house look perfect or even dress up for the photos. These photos are about your real, everyday life.
Q: what makes documentary photography different?
A: Far from it. There is such beauty and poetry in the mundane. I understand, it's hard for me to see it in my own life when I'm in the thick of it. Let me show you wonderful an ordinary day in your life actually is.
Q: i'm afraid our life is boring
A: Just send me an email and we'll schedule a chat to make sure we are a good fit. You then pay a non-refundable retainer to secure your date.
Q: how can we book you?
A: Yes, if you request them, but in a candid, documentary style. No cringey poses, I promise.
Q: will you take any portraits?
A: I do edit the photos to ensure there's a consistency to the collection as well as getting them ready to print. However, as this is photography of real life, I don't photoshop things in or out.
